The drive into the Bavarian Mountains was absolutely beautiful. Travelling from Australia we just wanted to get into that snow that we were expecting to be everywhere in Europe, but due to the warmest European winter for some time we had to travel up to the mountains to see it and feel it, but it was well worth waiting for. The lakes were so peaceful. Our tour guide Michael could have been a little more talkative.
