The card is also your ticket to the public transport, which will carry you all over the city both above and under ground. Everything's easy with the Stockholm Card.

You decide whether you want a card that is valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours. The card will not be valid until it is stamped with the time and date the first time you use it. Three child cards can be purchased per adult card. The card is valid once per attraction and entitles you to unlimited travel by metro, bus and commuter train.

Itinerary:

FREE canal tour:
The Stockholm Card includes free sightseeing on selected departures with the Historical Canal Tour. This takes you past the Old Town (Gamla stan), Sodermalm, Langholmen and round the island of Kungsholmen. Departures from the quayside at Stadshusbron. (Not available in Winter)

Discounted canal tour:
Stockholm Card holders receive a discount of SEK 40 per adult and SEK 20 per child on the Royal Canal Tour. This takes you through the Djurgardsbrunn canal and along the shores of Saltsjon. The tour starts on Stromkajen quayside.

Free Public Transportation:
Unlimited free travel on the Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) underground, buses and commuter trains. Should you wish to travel to and from destinations in Greater Stockholm, you can take commuter trains that depart from Stockholm Central Station. The best mode of travel is always indicated in presentations of sights. Airport transportation is excluded.
