Discover the wonders of Abu Dhabi, capital of the Emirates, known as the Arabian Jewel, including Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Jebel Ali Port, the biggest man-made port in the world is one of the landmarks that we pass by on the way to Abu Dhabi.

On arrival, the first destination is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. We then continue to the Women’s Handicraft Centre. Admire the skill and dexterity of local ladies making traditional handicrafts. This center was established to provide training and job opportunities for women in the region, as well as preserve and protect the local heritage.

You continue to the city through the well laid out roads, surrounding lush greenery, beautiful parks, and rows and rows of trees until you reach Abu Dhabi's oldest building, Al Husn Palace built in the 18th century, then visit Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Enjoy a magnificent view of the city by driving along the beautiful Corniche and make a photo-stop at the Breakwater. We then visit the Heritage Village and journey to the past to explore the life before oil was discovered.

Vehicles:
Buses used for excursions are of the highest standard available. All buses are air-conditioned and equipped with a microphone.

4x4 vehicles used for the off-road safaris are air-conditioned with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals, first-aid trained and carry cell phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.

Dress Code:
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages. Tight or figure hugging attire is not permitted. Also no transparent or see through clothing is allowed.

Photography:
Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings or military installations are not allowed.
