Amman is a city enriched with glamour of the past and the present, known as the ancient city of Philadelphia. See Late King Hussein Palace, where he is buried, the Roman Theater and Citadel.
Depart to the north to visit Jerash, the most complete and well preserved city of the Roman Empire. During the Roman Empire it was often called "Pompeii of the East".
A local English Speaking Guide will be included for 2 hours in Petra and 2 hours in Jaresh. The guides are provided by the Authority of Petra and Jaresh under the Ministry of Tourism.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Amman - Petra (D)Upon your arrival into Amman Queen Alia International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel in Petra. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
Day 2: Petra (B, D)
After breakfast visit the Nabatean Red -Rose City of Petra that is considered one of the wonders of the world. A city 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, carved in stone more than 2000 years ago in order to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. You will visit its towns, damns and water channels.
First, you can walk the siq, a narrow path of three quarters of a mile (1.2 kilometers), which is the main entrance to the city. At the end of the siq, you will see the treasury " Khazneh" - which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the "Khazneh" is breath taking. Other monuments you can see are the monastery and the altar of sacrifice. Return to Amman, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amman - Jerash (B, D)
After breakfast take a panoramic visit of the city of Amman. Amman is a city enriched with glamour of the past and the present. You will visit Amman's downtown market and city center: its traditional souks, coffee shops, restaurants selling local food and sweets, churches, mosques and many more popular places. Amman is also the ancient city of Philadelphia with its Roman theater and many other monuments that can be visited like the Citadel (entrance fees to the Roman theatre and the Citadel not included).
You will pass by the Late King Hussein Palace where he is buried, then drive to the other side of the city. You will see the beautiful huge houses made of white stones of the higher class. You will see the pubs, international restaurants, and discotheques.
After the panoramic visit of Amman, depart to the north to visit Jerash, the most complete and well preserved city of the Roman Empire. Jerash is one of the Decapolis cities of the north of Jordan. During the Roman Empire it was often called "Pompeii of the East". Alexander the Great first built Jerash in the 2nd century BC. You will visit its colonnaded streets, theatres, oval plaza, Temple of Zeus and other temples, markets and villages. Return to Amman and your hotel.
Day 4: Amman (B)
After breakfast and to coincide with your departure flight details, you will be transferred to Amman Queen Alia International Airport to meet your outbound flight.
