This trip is a must for history buffs! There is a lot of walking on uneven ground once you arrive to the coast, so wear comfortable shoes. The included lunch was excellent, our guide was imformative and ensured we had ample time to pay our respects. This trip is well worth your time!!

Thank you and your folks at Viator for a truely amazing, informative, exciting, and joyous tour of the Normandy beaches. There is no waY TO IMPROVE THIS experience within the time that we had for it. First class- all the way. My granddaughter and I are indebted to you folks for turning an already great tour of Paris into a memorable adventure in France.

The tour was great once we got in the bus and took our seat. However, it was frustrating arriving at the indicated place and time to find out that although we had a confirmation number, our reservations were in the system. We were told that we had a couple of options, either wait after everyone showed up and see if there were open seats or reschedule for another day which was not an option for me and decided to wait. After everyone had been seated in the bus, the confirmation number was taken and we were escorted to the bus. The tour in itself was great and well worth the money. The staff registering people at the site were most helpful. I had scheduled the tour on line the day before and this may explain the hiccup. I would caution to schedule this or any other even at least a couple of days before.

The only reason I didn't give this zero stars is because is wasn't an option. We paid to get picked up at our hotel because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to figure out how to get there and they never picked us up! We confirmed our hotel address and they just didn't show up. So we called Viator Support and they were no help. We asked to have the trip rebooked for another day and they said they couldn't do that because WE didn't show up. How could we not show up when they were supposed to pick us up? We were sitting in the lobby and waiting and waiting and waiting. They asked us to e-mail support and the "12-36 hour response" didn't come until a WEEK later after we'd left Paris. DO NOT USE VIATOR.
