Fantastic. Wine lovers, this tour is a must. We had such a great time. The smaller wineries are great.Reviewed by: Neanie, December 2013
Bus driver was very professional and lovely guy.Beautiful places.Reviewed by: Eeva M, December 2013
This is a very basic wine tour. You won't get to hit any of the main wineries; although you will drive by most of them. The tour guide spoke very poor English, which obviously is not ideal. If you want a quick trip to say you went to Napa and Sonoma Valley, then this is it. However, if you are truly a wine lover, this probably is not sufficient for your needs. I have no other complaints; it was a decent tour.Reviewed by: Madison F, November 2013
The all booking experience was a nightmare.
It took me around an hour on the phone to get the tickets booked.
We (8 friends) just wanted to be pay separately and be sure to be booked on the same trip/bus.
We should just have been able to book online and then call with the reference numbers to bring the group together.
Anyway this event passed we were really pleased to join the tour.
The comments of our drivers were nice but sometimes too much (was I the only person realising he was always telling the same stories, like 3 times each?).
The first stop at Nicholson Ranch Winery was nice but quick, the wines were ok.
We really enjoyed the stop at Madonna winery, the guide was witty and funny. Lots of wines to taste for all wine-lovers. The shop was a nice stop too and we weren't in a hurry there.
Lunch was great in Youthville, nice place to stop especially on a sunny day.
The last winery, was a disappointment. Actually, I don't even remember the name. The wines we tasted were supermarket quality wines, nothing I would even serve my guests at home.
We stayed far too long and even the shop was quite big, I did'nt buy anything as I felt I was more in a souvenir shop than anything else.
The garden and house of the owner were the positive point of the stop, relaxing and lovely spot to enjoy the sun.
In overall I would recommend this tour but would tell the wine-lovers to have no too high expectations...
I was looking forward to learning about the wine making process but found the tour just provided tasting opportunities at each of the 3 wineries.Reviewed by: Raeleen D W, November 2013
