New Orleans Cooking Class
Your cooking experts will demonstrate how to prepare classic New Orleans specialties such as gumbo, jambalaya and pralines, and will season them with history, trivia and tall tales. Learn the basics of Louisiana cooking and discover the array of spices used in this unique cuisine.
Enjoy generous samplings of the demonstrated items, as well as complimentary coffee, iced tea and beer. At the end of the class, take home the recipes to show off your new skills to your friends and family!

Monday: gumbo, red beans and rice, pecan pie and pralines
Tuesday: gumbo, jambalaya, bananas foster and pralines
Wednesday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Thursday: corn and crab bisque, shrimp Creole, bananas foster and pralines
Friday: shrimp and artichoke soup, crawfish etouffée, bread pudding and pralines
Saturday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Sunday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Monday: gumbo, jambalaya and pralines
Tuesday: corn and crab bisque, chicken etouffée and pralines
Wednesday: gumbo, chicken Creole and pralines
Thursday: gumbo, jambalaya and pralines

A fun filled two hours with information about local food and history! The food was good and the shop on the premises was filled with Spices etc to take home! Very worthwhile and highly recommended time! Enjoy!
