Excellent short excursion from London! Ride on the 50,000 tons Irish Ferry Ulysses alone is worth the trip. Dublin hop-on-hop-off bus is a great way to see the city. Gunness store house is a must visit stop. Walking tour is great and is free with bus ticket. Only draw back is the train ride from London to Holyhead - little too long and crowded. Train seats are not so comfortable comparing to Asia's modern trains.Reviewed by: Linda H, July 2011
This was a really great way to travel to Dublin for the first time. The guide who met us in London was fantastic as was the guide who met us in Dublin. This tour took all the stress out of the trip!Reviewed by: Miss J H M, June 2011
Loved the train ride and the Ferry was amazing. The only down side was the location of the hotel, next to the bus station made for a little bit of noise at night, other than that the hotel was nice.. Overall, railtours was helpful, polite and went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable.Reviewed by: mitchee, October 2012
The train ride and ferry ride were a really cool way to see the English and Welsh countryside. However, it's a 7 hour journey. It doesn't leave for enough time to enjoy Dublin. Dublin is a must see for sure - it's magical! My hotel was far from city center (20 min walk) but it was really nice!Reviewed by: Lauren B, April 2012
