This was such an excellent experience! Our guide, Benedetta, was great. She took us to a wide variety of different local businesses to sample many of the culinary delights of Florence. The tastings were all very generous as well as delicious! We have been on other food tours and this was one of our favorites! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.Reviewed by: Nancy M, May 2013
This trip exposed up to some of the culture that was available in Florence. We took this early on our trip to also familiarize us with the city a bit. We had a taste of so many things; wine, coffee, soup, olive oil, balsamic vinegar...and so much more. The experience was great!Reviewed by: porchcat, April 2013
This was such an enjoyable tour. We did this on our first day in Florence and it was a great way to see some of the city. Our tour guide, Angela, was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We were given so much food to taste that we were all struggling to eat it by the end ... fortunately human beings come with a separate stomach for gelato.Reviewed by: Mini, April 2013

This was a fun way to get to see a bit of the city while sampling a few delicacies. We first had coffee (really strong coffee!!!), then truffle sandwiches (amazing!!), wine with meats and cheese and olive oil/balsamic vinegar, and we finished with a traditional soup and bread. The food was good but I mostly liked the experience of going into small eateries and hearing about the foods from the locals, and also the central market experience. I'd recommend this for the beginning of your trip to get a feel for how Italy does food and pairings and to get your bearings!Reviewed by: JJ, USA, April 2013
