One of the best things of Florence is wandering the streets and alleys, the lane ways, and discovering another piazza, some history, or daily life. This tour offered a well-delivered conversation with all in the group about the history of the streets we were walking, bringing the stories to life.
A thoroughly interesting and accessible way to start to understand some of the history that shaped this magic city.
Very nice guide called Deborah, showed us all the sights and explained in good english. She was willing to make other suggestions which was great, would recommend it to our friends. Florence is a beautiful city and the weather was superb. We had a great 4 night break.Reviewed by: Bernise G, November 2013
Best way to beat the queues and see all the main sites. Especially if you are short on time.Reviewed by: Grant E, November 2013
Ok tour - bit hard to understand and wish we had walked into more places. This tour needs something else to make it really worth while.Reviewed by: Kacapin, USA, October 2013
This was an average tour. If you do it, do it at the beginning of your stay in Florence as an overview. The tour guide was challenged to do our tour in two languages - she was fluent, but this created pauses that were not helpful, other than for me to try to understand her Italian.Reviewed by: Barbara B, September 2013
