Bus tour was a little long, but definitely worth it for any first time visitors to the Big Island...

Good tour for an overview of the Hilo side of the island. NIce bus. A little on the long side, but worth the money.

It was a good trip (unfortunately it rained all day) our guide was interesting and knowledgeable. Wish we could have spent a little more time at some of the stops but other than that it was worth it

Viator's web site lists Kona Airport as a pickup spot--it's a mistake! Pickup is at Hilo. The tour was okay, but we were disappointed that we didn't get to see lava or get anywhere closer than what appears to be several miles from the main steam plume. The tour took us to two spots we really liked, the 1992 lava beach, which was a great walk, and another section of steam vents which was pretty and atmospheric on our cloudy day. Lava tube and waterfall were less exciting.
