Enjoyed the trip and all the explanation. But two things can be improved: the loudspeaker was very loud while sitting inside behind the captain. It would be good if one can get a cup of coffee during during the trip, just a machine for cold drinks provided, not enough.Reviewed by: Ting Sou C, October 2013
The first 5 minutes of the tour was spent waiting for gates to open.
The docent spoke extensively in French and only briefly in English.
His English was terrible, barely understandable.
There was a huge number of unruly noisy children on board.
The "Cruise" part of the cruise was very brief.
The description and portrayal of the event on line was far different from the reality of it.
I would never recommend this tour to anyone.
The departure location of the boat was more than a kilometre from the original site indicated at the time of booking. The informattion on the board at Park Villette was not clear and did not show the distance to the boat.Reviewed by: roger H, October 2013
The concept was fine, and it is not your issue that the lock to the Seine was broken, but the boat engine was in poor repair and the exhaust fumes nearly asphyxiated the passengers in the locks on the canal.Reviewed by: Beth A, October 2013
We were disappointed by this tour. Most of the tour takes place in the canals which aren't really that scenic. The canal locks are interesting the first time you see them but do consume much of this tour. Despite booking an English speaking tour, our guide spoke mostly in French and was very difficult to understand. Not a highlight of our trip and you would do better else where.Reviewed by: Cameron F, October 2013
