Our tour guide was fantastic. He blended a strong grasp of Pompeii's history with great side commentary and humor. If you want to get the most from your visit, you need to do this trip.

So glad we booked this excursion. The ruins of Pompeii were greater than expected but our guide did a great job taking us to the more interesting spots and had great stories about daily life in the city back then. Only advice is to give us more time at the end to soak in the sights at the center where the artifacts were stored and larger ruins were with the view of Mt. Vesuvius.
