Really enjoyed my trip to Gettysburg. Not enough time spent in Washington DC. Hope to get back again in a couple of years. Guide was very informative and really knew his stuff.

We had a fantastic day on our trip to Gettysburg. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the Civil War. You are brought to the Diorama first which gives you an overview of the battle and sets out for you where and who everyone was. I loved the visit to Little Round Top. So evocative and quite moving. Our guide was very informative although he was quite dismissive of the efforts of Joshua Chamberlain which surprised me. No two historians agree on anything though so maybe not too surprising! All in all this is a great tour and a great day out.

I enjoyed the trip very much and would recommend it. However, I didn't think the guide in Gettysburg was very informative. He didn't offer information and waited for people to ask questions. Boring!

Bus driver was very rude, he held up our tickets on the bus and told everyone that we were the mistake! Even though there were a few people who hadn't given him there tickets. The organisation for the buses was a complete nightmare it waslike a 'free for all ' with everyone rushing for there bus! If he had been next to his bus and checked everyone on (like he was when we got off....for a tip!) he would have known who he had and how many! This would of also prevented him LEAVING a man at gettsyburgh ....poor soul had to run about half a mile to catch up with the bus, luckily a passenger seen him running and shouted to the driver to stop!....apart from the driver the trip was really good....only had 20 mins to have lunch....as a family of 4 this was a huge rush.

Except for getting away a bit late and being caught in DC morning traffic (couldn't help that) where we lost some time, it was a wonderful excursion. We especially appreciated the insightfulness of the tour guide as he took us around to several of the prominent battlefield sights. He had some wonderful commentary to go along with what we saw. It's too bad the weather was a bit nasty, but it didn't damper our spirits at all. We also enjoyed the diorama and Shriver House tour. All-in-all, it was all worth the price of admission. We'd certainly recommend it to anyone and do it again in a heartbeat.
