Driver / Guide was excellent. Also drove down the back beach road late pm and saw lots of wallaby's.The only draw back is that you cannot take pictures or video of the Penguin's as people previously caused a problem with flash photography and it was a problem for the penguins so they have a strict policy of no cameras. They also have a brewery and sell Penguin beer .Reviewed by: Brian W, April 2014
Remember to grab a jacket/windbreaker along, it gets pretty chilly while waiting for the penguins.Reviewed by: Zhiwei L, April 2014
Lovely trip to Phillip Island to see the Penguins. Stopped off at Maru Koala Park on the way there, but it felt rushed as you had about an hour to get round the wildlife park, have a bit of lunch and get back on the bus, trip would have been better if we had left later from our hotel and went straight for the Penguins. Koala Park was a bit naff anyway, after some of the other wildlife parks we had visited whilst in Australia. We upgraded to the Penguin Plus and got a better spot to watch the penguins with a smaller amount of people, also included a free drink (the queues for the food and drinks were terrible - only had one till on at one point!!). Watching the penguins coming out of the sea, waddling over the beach to their burrows was great though, would highly recommend it. Stopped in Cowes on the way home for some dinner (own cost) then home.Reviewed by: Susan G, April 2014
The experience seeing and learning about the penguins is definitely worth while, however the side visit to the Koala and Kangaroo park was the worst. This small, poorly run animal park was a waste of time but it was included with the excursion. They should eliminate this part of the trip.Reviewed by: Sonjya J, April 2014
Interesting experience. Neat little critters to watch going back to their homes from a day on the ocean. The tour is quite long as it is a long drive from Melbourne. DO recommend getting one of the upgrades for the penguin viewing. Didn't enjoy the Koalas and Kangaroos Tour. The facilities were not very nice and it seemed like it was a tourist side show more than anything else.Reviewed by: Carolyn T, April 2014
