This overnight tour to the Bungle Bungles is designed for the active traveler short of time allowing you to see as much as of the Bungles as possible. Travel from Kununurra to find yourself in Purnululu National Park where you will gaze up at the massive beehive-shaped sandstone rock formations before you. Enjoy walks in Echidna Chasm, Frog Hole, Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge.

Day 1: Kununurra - Bungle Bungles (Lunch and Dinner) Depart Kununurra and drive via the scenic Ragged Range to Turkey Creek, where you'll enjoy a short stop. Head 53 km's to the turn off to the Bungle Bungles and another 53 km drive on a very scenic, but winding dirt road via the magnificent Osmand Range. You'll in time for lunch at the Northern Gorges. Afternoon walks in Echidna Chasm before arriving at the overnight camp on sunset.

Day 2: Bungle Bungles - Kununurra (Breakfast, Lunch)
This morning head to the Southern end for a walk through the Bee Hive area of Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge. Take an optional helicopter flight at approximately AUD$250.00, view these magnificent formations close up from the air.

Itinerary:

Bush Camping:
The tours feature simple to erect safari tents with standing room and self inflating air mattresses are also provided. If you don't have your own sleeping bag, one can be purchased for approximately AUD 40.00 per person. The campfire creates a wonderful atmosphere and is one of the great pleasures of camping in the bush, where passengers enjoy spinning a tale and sharing a laugh or song. All bush camping is fully self-contained, with equipment of the highest standard and stringently maintained, including a kitchen trailer. Bush camping is carried out with a strong commitment to conservation.

Meals:
Fresh food is prepared where possible, we endeavor to provide a healthy and varied menu. Breakfast is continental style, including toast, cereals, tea and coffee and fruit juice. Lunch is picnic style, including cold meats, salad or sandwiches and fruit. Dinner includes hot main meals and dessert. Many favorites to appear on the menu are camp oven roast, curries, pastas, satays and BBQs, with a variety of desserts. Don't forget to try the damper!

Vehicles:
Tours are conducted in custom built 4x4 vehicles and rugged safari coaches. The vehicles range in size from 5 to 16 seats, with forward facing seats, air conditioning, stereo and PA systems, two way radios and satellite phones ensuring a comfortable tour with medical assistance in remote areas.
