The Yarra Valley Wine tour started at 9 in the morning as I boarded the bus near Flinders St station. The host was very helpful and engaged with each of the passengers, finding out their name and where they were from. We went to 4 very different wineries. Our driver impressed us with his knowledge of wines and was keen to answer any questions. The choice of wineries was great. The meal was lovely and there was a gluten free option, which I found delicious. I really enjoyed the up market finish to the day with a glass of bubbles. I would choose Viatour again and look forward to finding other wineries in Australia that they can take me to.Reviewed by: karen f, October 2013
Great guide (John), great wineries. Had the opportunity to do up to 40 tastings! One of the best, if not THE best wine tour I've been onReviewed by: Gen, October 2013
Tour guide great…. a little misleading to advertise luxury coach.Reviewed by: Judith P, November 2013
Excellent - and our courier /driver spud was excellent too. However, I have been on this tour before and thought this time was a bit rushed! We were conscious of the fact that we were hurried along to each winery. Kinda like wacky races. Not having much time to sample the wines freely. The previous one was more relaxed and we had a courier and a driver. So maybe more pressure on the driver made this feel rushed. Still enjoyable though.Reviewed by: Merle Q, November 2013
I think we spent long travel to the destination but only got less than an hour for sight-seeing. We had already spent 45 minutes for the arrangement of helicopter then around 10 to 15 minutes for others. Therefore, our teammate (4 persons) needed to arrange another chance to there and enjoyed much with our self-arrangement.Reviewed by: Chan C, October 2013
