It was a great tour for us since we had a very short visit to Tokyo. The tour takes you through all the major suburbs and the guide was superb with all the historic and current information. Enjoyed the tour!
Highly recommended for tourists with short time to spend in Tokyo.Reviewed by: Farida R, July 2013
Our guide spoke English well since she had studied in Canada. She gave a little humorous side to the shrines and temples ("when passing through the gate of a shrine, you are said to be cleansed, but some people have to go back and forth several times before they are clean enough to move forward...") which made it fun. It was our first day so we didn't mind sitting in the bus for 30 minutes to get to the starting point, we just people watched all the little kids going to school, people on foot, etc. We had a little free time at Asakusa Buddhist Temple which was fun. Bring snacks with you as you have little time to sit and have a coffee, etc. We saw 3 things that morning, including the Imperial Palace which was super cool because we heard the guards practicing their martial arts behind a fence and could see them jumping high and shouting, etc.Reviewed by: Jennifer H, July 2013
Good tour - recommend half dayReviewed by: Rosanna T, June 2013
timing for the trip is too short for so many placesReviewed by: Kheng Lip O, June 2013
I was somewhat disappointed with this trip.
Our guide, was cold and very strict. The whole idea of taking this trip was becoz we have little time and thought that this will be a good way of seeing some of the best of Tokyo in a fast and effective manner. At our first stop, we were 2 mins late in coming back - we hopped into the shop to buy some souvenirs. At all the places we went to, he marched us right to the venue and back . . . no time to stop for photos and buying souvenirs. A couple of groups left at the end of the first and second stop . . . we left at Asakusa. I think partially the trip program was very tight.
Very sad but lucky for us, the guide at our full day Mt Fuji trip was wonderful.Reviewed by: Anne Y, June 2013 Note from Viator Note from Viator: Thank you for your review.
