Stop off at the picturesque town of Nauplia before arriving in Epidaurus. The world heritage listed city is reputed to be the birthplace of Apollo's son Asklepios, the healer and was the most celebrated healing center of the classical world. Epidaurus is probably most famous for its theatre, one of the best preserved classical Greek buildings and still used today due to its amazing acoustics.

Very good tour and informative. Skip the museum in Epidaurus though and go straight to the archaeological site as its quite large and impressive. I went through the museum and was only able to see a fraction of the great arch. site.

The tour was very well organized. The guide spoke very well English and was entertaining and kind. The group was small (10) so we managed to see many things.
