THIS WAS GREAT!
Definitely nice to be away from the crowds- There were about 6 of us in our group. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't touch or hold the koalas, but, they told us that they carry human STD's so that's a good reason!!!! Still, so wonderful to be inches from their furry faces! I loved it.
This activity is a must if you are in Sydney. It was a real treat to see the animals close up, and to feed a couple of them as well was an extra bonus !Reviewed by: Mandy B, December 2013
This tour was amazing and worth every penny. Fun and informative and you get to get up close and personal with the animals. Also recommend the giraffe experience to feed them.Reviewed by: Lisa S, December 2013

The tour guide could not have been better - he waited for 2 people to join the group that was late. From the brochure statement the end of the experience was with a high tea. By far this was only where our tour guide took our order while walking down toward the cafe.... we were offered ~ water, tea, coffee. The tour guide had orange juice. We had thought the high tea would have scones, cream and jam but no the tid bits were 1/4 the size of a cup cake. We were served these mini cupcakes ~ the server tossed down 7 plates and 7 forks in the center of the table, no napkins no sugar for the tea. I wish I had just paid for the high tea separately. There was NO relaxing at the tea to look over the water and Sydney. The table was placed in the FAR back of the cafe..... we could not see the water or the city. Such a disappointment for the ending of the Wild Australia Experience. We were taken to the kitchen where the animal food was prepared, inside the area for the koalas for a photo op. It was hard to enjoy some of the tours with non-paying families crowding in where we could not see. At one time our tour guide told one boy if he stuck his finger in the cage again it would be bitten off...... did not bother the parent at all. :( A great group for this tour .... could not have ask for better companions. You do need to do something about advertising the high tea and not providing it. You took our money and did not provide what was promised. We were excited to visit the Taronga Zoo since it had been 30 years since we were there.Reviewed by: Janisue R, December 2013
