3-Day Yosemite Camping Adventure from San Francisco
On Day Two you will enjoy a full day of hiking, sightseeing and exploring Yosemite's stunningly beautiful High Country. See such iconic Yosemite sights such as Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and Tunnel View. Take a gentle stroll to May Lake, a picturesque High Sierra lake, and head onwards to Mount Hoffman (snow conditions depending) and take in the 360-degree view of the surrounding mountain landscape. At the end of the day you will head back to camp for dinner and time to unwind by the campfire.
Day Three is a free day, with the itinerary based on the interests of the group. Choose from a number of great hikes, rent a bike, or simply relax in the shade by the emerald green Merced River. In May, June and early July, you also have the option of joining a whitewater rafting trip on the Merced River (additional cost, and depending on conditions). After a full day in the great outdoors, head back to San Francisco refreshed and revitalized from your trip to Yosemite National Park.

What a trip! I usually prefer to go it alone and find my way around, but seeing as I was only in the area for a few days, I (hesitantly) decided to book onto this tour and hope that I might find a friendly group and a good tour guide - we,, I couldn't have wished for more! The group was a great mix of people from all walks and countries, and the guide was a real expert in his field. I could pick his brains about many a subject and he would always provide a knowledgable and experienced answer, or provide the resources for us to able to find out in way of books and field guides. The guide really enhanced the trip for the whole group, and we were all delighted with his friendly manner, obliging attitude, and expert knowledge. A better guide I could not imagine! And, of course, the views and hikes were second to nothing I've ever experienced! The pictures speak for themselves...!
