Very well organized, we were pick up on time and the tour to the Hoover Dam was very educative and interesting. The lunch was light and good. The boat ride with the live guide was also very informative. I would recommend this tour to all.Reviewed by: Andy, March 2014
I loved the tour n the bus we met some awesome old ladies. It was great but the boat ride could of been better! The speaker person kept babbling on over the overcome with an annoying voice n all u wanted to do was just enjoy the ride n view..Reviewed by: Oksana B, March 2014
We were told not enough time for the tour thru the dam, therefore way too much time at Hoover dam. Lake Mead was nice. Overall okay.Reviewed by: Joan W, Canada, March 2014
Rushed not worth the money put to many people on one bus with different tours so everything was rushed no time to look around only 1.5 hrs total at the dam....ridiculous!!!Reviewed by: vegastrip, March 2014
I was very disappointed with how this trip was organized. We were delayed leaving the starting point because the employees put the wrong people on the wrong buses. We sat waiting for over 1/2 hour as people were moved around. This caused us to have only 1 hour and 15 minutes at the Hoover dam, barely enough time to do the tour and walk across the dam. The whole goal of the trip was to see this wonder, and we got cheated out of time because of poor planning.
The boat part of the trip was even worse!!! The food was a joke. As a vegetarian, I was given lettuce and onion in a bun for a sandwich. I had inquired prior to booking this trip if there were veggie options and was assured I would have something to eat. I spent a LOT of money to go on this tour, and to have to be hungry is NOT acceptable.
The blaring taped tour guide was terrible. People all over the boat were saying "I wish they would just play music". Interesting facts about what we are actually seeing is great, but a nonstop talk about indian's that haven't been there for over a thousand years and have no trace left of their existence is stupid.
