Very cold day....mother nature foul. There were lots of lines to stand in to participate in the Hoover Dam tour... we had to be back on the bus before we could go look at the pictures or historical part of the dam. The boat would have been nice if the weather had been better...if it's moderately cool, I suggest a coat or jacket. I had a brought a coat but was uncomfortable the majority of the trip. On a warm day I would have enjoyed the 90 minutes.

You get to see a large water pipe and the tops of the power generators and that is about it. I cannot say the dam is worth going into. Then you have about half an hour of time on your own to take pictures and walk across the top of the dam, which was worth doing. The stop at the M and Ms factory and cactus farm was a complete waste of time. The cruise gives you a unique perspective of the dam however it was quite long for how little of the dam you get to see from it. I would have liked to have seen the dam from the bottom and not just from the top.
