Once I found the Shuttle Office things were Ok. The office was not easy to find even if I had directions. Had to take a shuttle bus to another terminal with 90 lbs of luggage! Hardly anyone in the airport spoke English and if they did they had no idea where the Shuttle Office was.Reviewed by: barcelona, November 2013
I was quite disappointed and frustrated with this service. My plan landed at 9:00am in Terminal 1. I followed the instructions on the voucher on how to find the Shuttle's office from this Terminal and after a gruelling 9 hour flight,dragging my bags back and forth through Terminal 1 and after 2 and a half hours of searching (Not a joke) Took a free bus to Terminal 2 (the second instructions on the voucher)and found the office. They should eliminate passengers being instructed to wander through Terminal 1 looking for their
office and just direct everyone to Terminal 2 instead.
My flight arrived in Terminal 1 + I had printed directions as to how to find their counter. The directions were not specific enough + I ended up at a taxi stand who sent me to a bus area who sent me back in the terminal. Then I ask at a tourist information booth + they direct me correctly, but the counter is closed. My printed directions tell me to go to Terminal 2 by shuttle bus if this happens. All through this escapade, I'm hauling my luggage. I finally find their counter in Terminal 2 + the group leaves about 10 minutes later. There is a walk to the bus. When we are near my hotel (on Las Ramblas), the driver tells me that he can't stop the bus at the corner where my hotel is located (the entrance is a half block down the side street), but he can stop 2 blocks up the road. This is no problem when you don't have luggage, but I did. I expected to be dropped off nearer to my hotel.Reviewed by: EMYVEG, November 2013
The pickup was not very organized. We had to transport our bags to another terminal and then it was difficult to locate the kiosk. We had to wait well over 30 minutes for our ride. IT WASN'T AS GOOD AS EXCURSIONS FROM VIATOR.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM VIATOR CAN COME TO THE ARRIVAL AS MANY PEOPLE DO WITH WRITTEN NAME OF THE CLIENT. THIS WAY YOU CAN AVOID MANY CONFUSION AND DISAPOITMANS. ESPECIALLY WHEN PLANE ARRIVED LATE AND HARDLY ANY BODY AROUND TO ASK FOR DIRECTIONS IN THE PARKING BASEMENT. FROM 10:10PM I WAS LOOKING FOR THE DRIVER TILL 12:30AM IN TWO AIRPORTS. I WAS REALLY NERVOUS THAT HOTEL WOULD CLOSE THE DOOR AND I CAN'T GET THERE IN UNKNOWN CITY IN SUCH A LATE TIME . I ABLE TO ARRIVE TO MY HOTEL DOOR AFTER 1AM NEXT DAY.
