Al was our guide and very knowledgable on history and anecdotes about Nice. We were a party of 3, which included a teenager. At times the history input was a little heavy going for some, but with a diverse group you can't please everyone !. However Al was very informative, and very helpful and relaxed in how he delivered the tour. This included being flexible in the tour because we had already visited some sites, he took us to others that we had not previously seen. It was great getting around some of the tiny backstreets that we would certainly not have found on our own. This tour is well recommended and i would suggest doing early on during your trip to Nice in order to get your bearings. The bikes are easy to use and you do not have to be a fit cyclist to enjoy or keep up.Reviewed by: KERRY G, January 2014
My husband and I just got back from two weeks in Europe, and we did a bike tour in each major city. This was the best one by far (even better than Munich)! The guide actually made an effort to learn our names and spoke so well about the history and sights of the town - you could tell he really loved living there! The ride was very easy with the exception of one climb up castle hill (we dismounted and walked part of the way), but he gave everyone plenty of time. At the end, he handed out a recommendation sheet of restaurants, activities, and nightlife/cafes in the area, which became our go-to for the rest of our trip. So wonderful!Reviewed by: Julie R, October 2013

Great way to explore Nice! This city has so much more than the beaches and shopping, and you can see it all through this tour. But be aware that the "little hill" described in the tour description is more than just an easy little uphill bike ride!Reviewed by: Ayessa, USA, September 2013
Tour guide was a little too chatty, but very sweet. Would have liked to have biked more and seen more, rather than stop off and talk so much, but still recommend this trip to see some areas of the city. We were given restaurant info/local info to take away at the end, which is a reason to book as early as possible in the trip.Reviewed by: Amy L, October 2013
