I have already raved to friends and relatives about this wonderful 5 hour trip. We were very lucky to have a fine, cloudy day. The reflections of the beautiful clouds and forest in the dark still mirror-like Gordon were a photographer's heaven. Hearing all about the Huon Pines and walking through the historic forests, attending a fabulous tour of Sarah island with a memorable guide, and sailing out to where the ocean meets the Macquarie harbour, in a beautiful vessel, with a fabulous lunch and very skillful hosts, made the whole trip well worth every penny.Reviewed by: Rosalie H, December 2013
We had a fantastic day out on the water. This tour was not only enjoyable because of the great commentary from the skipper and crew but it also incorporated so many points of interest. Sarah Island was a trip back in time and the scenery of the ancient Forrest with the hueon pine tall timber was breathtaking. A must trip to do if you are in Strahan and well worth the drive over to the West Coast of Tassy to do. The buffet lunch supplied was great too.Reviewed by: Helen, December 2013
it was a wonderful experience, the cruise staff were excellent and the tours of the islands were spectacular.
would recommend this criuse.
Fantastic cruise with lunch provided, a short walk and a tour of Sarah Island. Really worth the money!Reviewed by: Jessie R, December 2013
We all had a great day beautiful weather for boat trip, though a little windy so reflections not as good as in this picture. Only problem for me having coeliac disease I ordered a gluten free lunch and this was not made available for me so was disappointed, apparently it did not get through to the cruise booking office in strahan.Reviewed by: chris c, December 2013
