This is one of those places where if you are wanting to look on your own like we did then this is the ticket. May I suggest that you go early and take time to visit their park. It is beautiful and full of little surprises like street music and occasional children field trips! Upon our exit seeing the line we were most appreciative!

The gallery itself was amazing, however, we paid three times the ticket price for the privilege of skipping the line. Just call the gallery yourself and reserve in advance. This was so not worth it.

The Borghese is a magnificent gallery. We made full use of the two hours available to us, the works of art are exquisite. Being able to buy the ticket in advance made life easy for me, I tried using the online purchasing system for the gallery but it was tedious and the result was that I still couldn't buy the tickets.

Borghese is a MUST DO for Rome, even more so than Vatican tours. But you must buy a timed entry ticket or will not be allowed to visit.

This is a world-class museum and is a must-see if you are in Florence. Make sure you order your tickets ahead of time. It is highly recommended that you reserve a time, if possible. If you plan to see several sites in Florence, buy a Firenze Card which lets you into the most popular sites and usually without waiting in line. One last thing, be absolutely sure you wear good, comfortable shoes and can walk about a mile without much trouble.

WHAT A MUSEUM! The sculpture here really IS some of the best we have ever seen. There is a reason why this place is so popular and the works of art are, obviously, a bit part of that! The location itself is a huge public park which was very crowded on a Sunday with families and tourists strolling around or picnicking on the grounds. A beautiful green oasis, truly!
We had the audio tour which was absolutely wonderful in describing the key pieces and their history. a MUST to know about the art here.
We just loved visiting here. Very lucky to see such wonders.
