Excellent! Immensely entertaining and great guide. Enjoyed thoroughly. Will do it again.Reviewed by: WOOI LEONG T, December 2013
This was the highlighted tour of our trip. Rubert was our tour guide/van driver. He stopped at many different little villages and gave us time to walk around or shop. He was very knowledgeable about the Cotswolds. He was so helpful and went out of his way to assist us. He even looked up train schedules for us to continue onto Godlaming! He dropped us off at the train station, helped us buy our tickets, and brought us to the platform. He's awesome. We felt very secure knowing we were in good hands.
We stayed at The Bungalow one night. The host and hostess there were very gracious. The room was very clean and pretty!
We are back in South Africa now. We had a wonderful tour and I have recommended Viator/Rabbies tours to ALL our friends. Going in a small 16 seater bus was just perfect - we were even more lucky as there were only 8 of us on the little bus. Our driver/tour guide, Kevin, was wonderful - so interesting and very friendly and helpful. So much so that when we got to our hotel on Saturday night in Cirenscester and there was a power failure in half of the little village and our hotel had NO lights/power, he suggested that we quickly put down our bags and quickly come back to the bus and he would take us to the hotel where he was staying to get our evening meal. That night on our return we quickly got ready for bed as there were still NO lights, they came on during the night and we were able to shower the next morning. We had a great tour of the Cotswolds. This tour was a great way to see the English countryside as well as Bath and Oxford. Our guide was Owen, who was very entertaining and knowledgeable. There was a lot of time to explore on your own so you get to do what you're interested in. The bus is great. The only downside was the hotel we stayed at was a little noisy (I had asked for a B and B) and probably should have more of a two star, but we hardly spent any time there.Reviewed by: Andrea M, October 2013
This was a great trip. All of the spots were amazing. I like having a small group. Accommodation was awesome. Tour guide was knowledgeable but sometimes hard to hear. For my first time to england it allowed me to see some breath taking country side.Reviewed by: William v, August 2013
