Very knowledgeable guides, entertaining and interacted very well with the group.
The lunch was a treat. The group size was just right for us to be able to intermingle with each other as well.
Overall the tour was nice.

This was a great tour but even with guide, Versailles Palace is extremely crowded. Rushed through many rooms because of crowds. Tour of Gardens is much more leisurely. Picnic on Grand Canal was fun - seating mostly on grass though - no blankets. Tour Guide - Greg or Gerry? - was excellent. Recommended golf cart for my partner who had limited walking ability. That made the tour - we even got to the Trianons!! Recommend even if not limited - grounds are immense and lots to see. Since we could not walk as much on tour, we met with Tour Guide at various points and times - extremely helpful and accomodating. Could skip the lunch and just buy cheese, bread, cold cuts, wine, fruits at the French Market for the picnic.

Versailles is breath taking! Unfortunately it was a bitterly cold day so walking outside was a challenge. Our guide was very informative and down to earth. He kept conversation going with out a problem. After touring the grounds you go into Versailles without the guide but have the audio guide tour. It was a great experience!!
