Amazing experience. Our tour guide James was full of knowledge, so much so that I was shocked about how he knew even the minute details of different places we not only visited but past. A bit pricey, but I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!Reviewed by: Yang C, June 2014
By far, my favorite tour of our trip!!! Our guide and driver were engaging and funny - we love the 'dry' humor!! The bus was comfortable and relaxing, making the guided parts of tour more enjoyable. Breakfast at the tavern was filled with history and lessons about the past of the tavern and city of Lacock too! Seeing Stonehenge up close and personal was a breath taking experience; no crowds and private guided tour - a wealth of history all to yourself. I would recommend this trip to anyone!!Reviewed by: Natalie R, June 2014
Our tour guide was amazing, very informative and funny. The breakfast at Lacock was terrible though, for the price you paid it was not worth what you get. I felt like we spent too much time in Bath and it should have been spent so we could look in the stonehenge souvenir shop as we had to rush to buy things to get back to the bus on time.Reviewed by: Corrine G, June 2014
This is the ONLY way to see Stonehenge. Can't recommend it enough. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and our coach driver was very entertaining. Lacock is a charming little village. And lunch at the George was delicious.Reviewed by: Dallas S, June 2014
I was given the wrong directions by a cab driver to get to the hotel from the tube station where I was supposed to be picked up. The tour left one minute before I ran up to the front doors but the desk service was nice enough to call customer service for me, even though I wasn't staying at the hotel. The woman at customer service told me that I had to call to confirm my pickup location, which was never sent to me in any email I received and unexpected, especially because I selected my preferred pickup area upon purchase of the tour. I had to race to the other side of London to make a train up to Bath and then use someone's phone to call back to find where everyone was. I was supposed to be able to talk to the staff at the Roman Baths but I guess my tour guide hadn't made it clear I'd be coming late so it took 15 minutes to actually get me in. By then I had reached the tour group and everything went smoothly. However, it was not made clear in any part of the website that we would have to choose from a set menu at lunchtime, which was disappointing and the choices were incredibly expensive compared to what could have been purchased from the regular menu at the pub. The 'tour' to Lacock wasn't really a tour, it was just a dinner stop. We basically walked up a lane back to the bus and our tour guide pointed things out along the way. The Stonehenge tour was wonderful because we were able to get close, but the rest of the tour was disappointing. The time we spent in Bath was just enough to see the Roman Baths and get an ice cream, that was about it. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the tour and communications, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.Reviewed by: Alexandra S, July 2014
