Wasn't sure what to expect while cruising "in the dark". Little did I know, the canals seem to come alive with their countless illuminated bridges that it makes for a totally new experience. Very nicely narrated as we go through special bridges, buildings or neighborhoods. The cheese selection is delightful and what can I say about the wine...they just kept on coming and refilling our glasses. It is a wonderful way to spend an evening in this lovely city.

We fully enjoyed this candelight cruise. The wine and cheese was great! The tour was educational and to see the city at night was absolutely beautiful. Our only recommendation would be to have someone assist the server on fully booked tours and to include a basket of bread on the table. We recommend this tour.

To be honest we were not happy as firstly we were not on the itinery!
We booked and paid for the trip using Viator, but the Amsterdam Canal Company did not know who we were! We had proof of the booking so they had to find room for us but consequently we did not have a seat to ourselves and we had to sit with another couple which made us face backwards!
Luckily the couple were lovely and the good thing is we made friends with them.
The other poor thing was that the candle was fake and we were given a plate of cheese with no bread or crackers just some pickles.
The wine was plentiful and OK but just a choice of one red and one white.
The tour itself was good and interesting.
