It was very busy at one point we actually got "swept" along by the crowd. However still enjoyed the museum especially the Sistine Chapel

Definitely glad we skipped the line but I do not recommend going on a Wed. it was VERY crowed, to the point it was hard to move. We chose not to do a tour because we have two small kids and i wanted to be able to go through quickly if need be.

Guide was there at the time appointed. Skipped the queue without any hassle. Slightly chaotic in the booking hall but only due to volume of people, nothing that was the guide's problem. Recommended
