Niagara Falls is the perfect overnight trip from New York City. Travel northwest through the mountains and across scenic upstate New York to the majestic Niagara Falls. Feel the power as the spray from the thundering falls lands on your skin during a cruise on the historic "Maid of the Mist" (seasonal) during an up-close encounter.

While visiting Niagara Falls you will have the chance to cruise on the historic "Maid of the Mist" boat for an up-close experience of Niagara Falls. The 30 minute cruise takes you through the foaming waters to the base of the American Falls and the basin of Horseshoe Falls. You will get close enough to the falls to feel the cool mist on your skin.

The "Maid of the Mist" only operates in the warmer months so if you are traveling from mid-October to April you will instead visit the Scenic Tunnels. Now known as "Journey Behind the Falls", an elevator takes you behind the great sheet of Niagara Falls down to a thunderous up close view of Niagara Falls.

Important Passport and Visa Information:Some nationalities may need multiple entry visas to the U.S.A. and a Canadian visa. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler. During the season Mid April - Mid October, when the Maid of the Mist is operating, the tour group stays at a hotel on the American side of the Falls. During the winter months, when the Maid of the Mist is not operating, the tour stays on the Canadian side of the Falls.

U.S and Canadian Citizens: Must bring a passport for re-entry to the United States. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate. Non-U.S. Citizens: Either a Passport, I-94, Multiple Entry Visa or Resident Alien Card is required for re-entry to the United States.

You must advise your nationality at the time of booking in the "Special Requirements" box when making your booking. Please also advise full names of all passengers as they appear on passports. Your booking cannot be confirmed without these details.

Itinerary:

Day 1: New York - Niagara Falls
Depart New York at 8:00am and travel northwest through the beautiful Mountains and across scenic upstate New York with stops every 2 hours. Experience the state's diverse ethnic heritage and the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes, one of the country's premier wine producing areas, before reaching today's highlight, Niagara Falls at 5:00pm. After sunset enjoy a walking tour to view the massive, illuminated waterfalls.

Day 2: Niagara Falls - New York
This morning enjoy breathtaking views of the Falls when you take a cruise on Niagara River, aboard the Maid of the Mist. You will get amazing close-ups at the base of the thundering waterfalls and feel the awesome power of the water. From mid-October to April when Maid of the Mist is not operating, you will the boat ride will be substituted with an awe inspiring visit to the Scenic Tunnels behind the Canadian Falls. After the cruise, return through picturesque countryside to New York City at approx 7:30pm depending on traffic.

If you cancel between 15 and 30 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 per cent cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 14 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 per cent cancellation fee.
