The tour was excellent!
Our tour guide was exceptional in local Boston history and humorous in his delivery.
A must tour for any first time visitor.
A good way to see Boston if you have only a couple of days as you see it by land and sea a lot of fun as the drivers are so funny they make it even better.Reviewed by: Susan M, Australia, November 2013
Good way to see the "highlights" of Boston...not your typical tour bus
On the tour I learned more about the tour guide than the wonderful town of Boston. He spoke often of himself and his upcoming appearances in movies rather than the city's historic sites. Our time in the water seemed pointless as we simply drove around in a large circle for twenty minutes. I'm sure the children who were given an opportunity to drive the vehicle at that point enjoyed the experience.Reviewed by: Darby K, November 2013
I traveled 2 hours to Boston with visitors from Germany and booked the Duck Tour so we could see the highlights of the city in the one day we had to visit. I confirmed with Duck Tours in the morning before I left Connecticut to take the 2 hour car trip to Boston. They never said that there was a change in the things that we would be seeing and that we couldn't go see most of the highlights in Boston due to a 10K race that closed several streets. It would have been nice to know that before I drove all the way to Boston. My visitors saw very few highlights of Boston, which I had been hoping they would see. Pointing out the South Stn T is not in my opinion worthy of a $35 ticket to go on a tour. Be careful booking and make sure you specifically ask if there are any disruptions in their normal touring route--especially if you are limited on time and coming into Boston only for this tour. There contract mentions that they may have to cut some items out due to time; but doesn't mention drastically changing the tour to see very little of Boston.
