This tour was worth the value for the gondola ride alone. The walking tour could not keep my interest. Our tour guide was very dry and I was bored. The gondola ride was very nice and it started while it was light and ended at night. Very nice!

We really enjoyed the walking tour through an area of Venice we hadn't yet been to. The guide was friendly and humorous. The gondola ride at the end was rather boring though - the gondolieri didn't say a word to us the whole trip - not that I was expecting a guided tour, but a few words here or there would've been nice.

We arrived at our meeting point early and met up with another couple who had booked the same tour. When the departure time arrived and no guide showed up, we called and they told us that we were at the wrong location. We were told that the location specified on our vouchers had changed since we printed them. The other couple did not book through Viator, but they experienced the same problem. It took about 30 minutes to arrive at the new meeting location, so we missed the walking tour. We did however enjoy our Gondola Ride which was very nice. When we arrived home after our trip, we reprinted our vouchers and this time they showed the new location. Before our trip, we had recieved multiple emails from Viator that simply asked if we had printed our vouchers, and since we did, we did not see any need to reprint them. Viator's emails should have said "Meeting location has changed - REPRINT YOUR VOUCHERS!!! We have never had a problem with our many prior Viator trips, but needless to say we are not satisfied with this experience!
