Everything was great and we preferred a driver a lot. But, however, please mind that if you have customers from non-English speaking nations, please use "standard English" (avoid slang and rapping) and make it slow particularly when you mention time and place of appointments because if they can't keep up with it, they may come late or lost.Reviewed by: chatchawan r, April 2014
An exciting full 12-hour day, with a full 4 hours to spend at the Grand Canyon, in addition to a stop at Hoover Dam. Enjoyed the Nevada and Arizona scenery on way to the West Rim. Our driver, James, was an excellent narrator -- we very much enjoyed his description of the sights from the bus, and also he offered us lots of tips for our stay in Las Vegas. He should be commended for excellent work! The lunch was wonderful, with out of this world views from our table at Gano Point!
A bit dissatisfied, however, with our pick up at the Monte Carlo Hotel. Upon inquiring before the trip, I was told to look for a bus marked with the tour provider's name. We did not see any bus with that description at the appointed time. Finally, 15 min. after the pick-up time, one of the drivers walked out of an idling white bus with no markings and called our name. We would not have assumed that was our bus since there was no indication of that. I would suggest a clearly marked vehicle and that the driver immediately get off the bus to notify waiting customers. Other than that, it was a wonderful day and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy the magnificent sights. Thank you!
would recommend this tour. was picked up and dropped off at our hotel. (stayed at Planet Hollywood).we were going to rent a car and drive to the canyon and hoover dam but i am glad we did the bus tour. we were able to relax and sight see . we had James as a driver and he was pretty cool. the audio that he was suppose to play on the way didnt work, which talked about the canyon and the dam. we where told that pick up time would be 605 am but wasnt picked up to closer to 630. you have to call viator 24 hrs before your tour to verify, place of pick up and time of pick up, the roads to the canyon were dirt and bumpy as you got closer. they are working to pave it, alot of construction, which didnt hold us up at all. the free lunch ticket is ok...you are limited to certain things at the skywalk location. we used one free meal ticket there and saved the others at Guanamo point..(think i spelled it wrong) you got a salad, water, chicken. and or pulled bbbeef, roll and a little cookie for dessert. the skywalk was nice. would recommend that. it is a long day but enjoyable and relaxing. this tour does not include going inside the dam to see all the generators..so if you are looking for that, this is not the tour. you are across the dam looking at it from a standing point. you stop at a little store for snack/drink/bathroom break for about 15-20 min..on the way home. i do wish they had a video playing...haha..but all in all, if this is your 1st visit to the canyon and or dam i would definetly recommend this tour ! hope this review helps ....Reviewed by: donna j, April 2014
Great trip!Reviewed by: Alan L, April 2014
My friend from England and I really enjoyed this tour. It was a long day but we had a good amount of time at the Dam and the Canyon. It was an early start from our hotel (pick up was supposed to be at 6am) and then we had a stop at the tour operators depot where we were reassigned to other buses. It seemed about an hour and a half before we felt we were on our way. A meal was included but it was hours before our first stop at the Canyon when food was our main priority not exploring the sights! (We were glad we had taken along a couple of cereal snack bars). We did the skywalk but have no photo proof as personal cameras etc had to be locked away. Professional photos were 30$ a piece.Reviewed by: Kathleen S, April 2014
