Visit the beautiful island of Chiloé, the second largest island in South America on a full day guided tour from Puerto Montt. Departing from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, you'll drive to Pargua and board the ferry which takes you to the 'Big Island' of Chiloé. You'll pass through Chacao and Caulin where there is an abundance of indigenous bird and wildlife. If hungry, you can dig in to a plate of local oysters (optional - not included)!
Continue to Ancud, the largest town on the north of the island where you'll visit the main square and the Chile Tour Museum. Enjoy the various exhibits as well as a beautiful picture display of the history of Chile.
You'll head past the Gulf of Quitalmahue to the famous fort of San Antonio. Savor a delicious lunch before traveling to Huaihuen Hill for a beautiful panoramic views of the town and its surrounds.
