Great guide, and small group was excellent because you got to know the others on the tour. Perfumerie at Grasse is really good and not your typical tourist trap.

This was an excellent trip, a great value for the money. Our driver and tour guide was great at explaining everything and answering any questions we had. Luckily, we were the only group 3 of us who booked the tour for the day, so we basically had a private tour.

This day was worth every penny! The guide was gracious enough to pick me up in northern Nice -- further from the center of the city than I realized! The day was relaxed, which I deeply enjoyed; the group decided if we wanted more or less time in any one place. Eight people was a congenial number. We saw SO much more than I ever could have done on my own, and learned more than I ever would have alone. The roads in Provence are not conducive to driving a rental car: they're narrow, curvy, and beautiful but dangerous if you are trying to sight-see and drive at the same time. In this case, though, the view was a joy between stops. We spent a full day -- 9 to 6 -- on the tour and I left with beautiful pictures and memories. Several of the others on the trip were disappointed that we spent time at places that seemed designed to shop, but I wasn't because I got a few nice things at a better price than I saw in the city of Nice.

Our tour was exceptional. We have no complaints -- only praise. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She had many stories of interest for each of the places where we stopped. Our day was filled with breathtaking scenery. I would highly recommend this tour, as it was a full day of insight and pleasure that we would not have been able to fulfill on our own.

It was definitely worthwhile to see the Provence countryside. There were only 5 people in the van, which was a definite plus. The perfume factory and fruit factory were bonuses. I did find the jam at the fruit factory too sweet for my taste.
