Matsuri, the number one musical production in Japan, opened in the United States at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino on July 31, 2009. The stage show features Olympic medalists and world-class athletes performing a combination of acrobatics, dance, stunts and athletics set to high-energy music. Matsuri mixes elements of Japanese culture to create a truly original show that is completely unique to this side of the globe.

Matsuri is a spirited heart-pounding Japanese production that fuses the allure of world-class athletics and extreme sports into an array of stimulating stunts, breathtaking acrobatics and a symphony of sounds created by tapping and stomping the stage. Matsuri celebrates the human mind, body and spirit by engaging audience members with an interactive, physical and thrilling glimpse of Japanese tradition and culture.

With more than 18 acts, Matsuri combines gymnastics, comedic routines, vibrantly colored costumes and heart-pounding rhythms. The talented cast consisting of 28 performers includes world champion German wheel gymnast, world champion mountain biker, world-class Yo-Yo champion, world record hula hoop champion, a karate expert specializing in sword fight action stunts and a world record bungee jumping act (acts subject to change)
