Our guide was excellent, she gave us a lot of information and we covered a lot of the city. It was well worth the cost and great value for money.

A great introduction to get the sights as the city is very large, metro trip was very useful in understanding its use.

We had a charming guide who imparted much information about the palaces that we visited on the walk. She was very proud of her 'Magyar' birthright, and enjoyed telling us about the historical persons of Hungary. The tour did all that it said on the packet, and more.

For my money, Budapest is one of the finest capital cities in Europe, east or west. Prague may be slightly more stunning, but the crowds can be so much to cope. Budapest has so much more to discover without people everywhere.

On the day we went on this tour there was a public transport strike. We missed out on Heroes Square, but the guide offered to take us to Parliament House instead. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed this introduction to Budapest.
