Next day, plunge into the sea in an Atlantis submarine dive along Kona's Westside reef. Combining two separate adventures in one package, it's a once in a lifetime experience!

On day one, have bird's-eye views of a volcano from the air as you fly over Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Hawaii's ever-changing colors and landscapes unfold as rainforest gives way to barren lava fields. You'll see myriad waterfalls and peer into Pu'u O'o vent (weather permitting). Search for active lava flows and experience the "newest place" on earth, "Pele's Fountain", where molten lava erupts into the Pacific Ocean as waves crash ashore.

For your next adventure on day two, the Atlantis Submarine Adventure departs Kona for the Westside reef. Explore the ocean in the comfort of a high-tech submarine, tour to depths of 100 feet (30 meters) and discover Hawaii's unique marine species. Every dive is a new adventure!

Please note:

• In order to book the volcano tour - all passengers weights MUST be advised
• It takes approximately three hours to drive from Kailua to Kona Pier (submarine tour) to Hilo Airport (volcano helicopter tour)
• This is a two-day tour - the Kona Submarine Adventure is to be taken on one day, and the Volcano Helicopter Tour is to be taken on the next day. The two adventures cannot be taken on the same day.

Volcano Helicopter Tour: Departs at Hilo Airport. It takes approx. 3 hours drive from Kailua-Kona Pier to Hilo Airport. Transport is not included.

• It takes approximately 3 hours drive from Kailua-Kona Pier (submarine tour) to Hilo Airport (volcano helicopter tour)
• Passengers are highly recommended to book the volcano tour on a different day due to the  distance between the two tours.
• This is a two day tour - the Kona Submarine Adventure is to be taken on one day and the Volcano Helicopter Tour is to be taken on the next day. Unable to do the two adventures on the same day.

Atlantis Kona Submarine Adventure:

• All tours are in English. Headsets providing narration in Japanese are available upon request
• Children must be 36 inches tall or taller to ride the submarine
• Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder to board the submarine
• Actual underwater tour time is 35 minutes. Shuttle boat ride from the pier to the submarine and transfer is 10 minutes each way
• Guests check in at the submarine ticket booth located at the Alii Drive across from Kailua-Kona Pier when hotel transportation arrives or, if not using provided pick-up service, 30 minutes before the scheduled submarine tour time

Volcano Helicopter Tour:

• All passenger heights, weights and contact details MUST be advised. If you do not indicate this at the time of booking, you will be required to call the tour operator and advise them of this information directly. The contact details will be on your voucher once you have a confirmed booking.
• Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 200 lbs. will be required to purchase an additional comfort seat at 50% of the individual fare. This is payable directly to the tour operators on the day of the tour
• Tour does not fly any specific routes but has many sights within the area of a described tour that we intend to visit during a tour
• Sights may vary due to weather
• Flight times are estimates and may vary a few minutes
• Bring lots of film and wear a dark colored shirt to reduce glare on the plexiglass windows
• Tours can be given in JAPANESE, GERMAN and FRENCH. Please notify 72 hours in advance if required
• For your safety and comfort, hats and oversized bags are not permitted on the flight line or in the helicopter
• Bring picture I.D
