Perfect amount of time and we saw everything we wanted to.Reviewed by: Keith B, December 2013
Both the walking and boat tour were very interesting and enjoyable. The meeting place was easy to find and ran to time. I found it a little difficult to hear the commentary on the walking tour with the one ear earpiece. The guide on the boat tour was totally charming and very expressive about her love of Venice. I highly recommend the Venice in One Day to travellers who want to get orientated while learning about some of the wonderful history in breathtaking Venice.Reviewed by: Lonnie, December 2013
Fantastic tour! A great way to explore Florence, especially if it's your first visit. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting, and kept our attention throughout the tour.Reviewed by: Morey K, December 2013
The morning walkiing tour was a little less than satisfactory. We did have head phones which worked fine when we were getting everyone together and ready to go. Once we got on the tour with outside noise and lots of people hearing the guide was nearly impossible even with the headphones turned as high as possible. Her accent was difficult to understand and she would start talking about a site before we got close enough to hear. We have been on many tours where the headphones were great and you could hear and understand at quite a distance. The three star rating if for this tour.
The afternoon boat trip was great. The guide was very excited to show us Venice. We enjoyed this tour very much and would give it a definite 5 stars.
A waste of money. Although the tour provided speaker hearing devices to everyone, the quality was very poor. Top that with a guide who's English was so heavily accented and broken she was difficult to understand. After about twenty minutes, we gave up completely, gave our headsets back to the guide and left the tour. I talked with other people who had completed the tour and they felt the same way. They also stated that it was WAY too much walking.Reviewed by: Deborah L, November 2013
