Blue Mountains ok but the Jenolan caves are fantastic. A long tour (circa 12 hours) but well worth it. Very well organisedReviewed by: Alex, March 2014
Cloudy and rainy, so we could not see the mountains. This also made bad traffic, so we missed the aboriginal show. The caves, however, were very nice, comparable or better than most caves we have seen anywhere. Tour guide was easy to hear and understand. Bus driver Mike was also very nice.Reviewed by: Donald B, April 2014
Great trip, well organised friendly driver. Lunch facilities at Jenolan Caves a bit disappointing.Reviewed by: Jane H, April 2014
I really enjoyed my day trip to the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves - how could you not? They are both spectacular locations. Our coach driver was extremely friendly and was able to give out loads of really interesting facts and information during the drive. He was also an excellent driver. How he managed some of those hair-pin bends, I do not know! However, the one thing that was really disappointing was the cafe/food facilities available at the Jenolan Caves. They really were terrible. But, there was no other option. I realise that this probably has nothing to do with Viator but i mention it only so as to warn others that you will be better off to bring your own lunch rather than pay for overpriced, really bad food with terrible, unfriendly service in not very pleasant or clean facilities.Reviewed by: MR S T, April 2014
Terribly disorganised at the pick-up station. We were supposed to leave at 8am but there were so many people booked on this tour we had to wait for a second bus to arrive. NO communication from the tour bus company so everyone standing around looking lost. So many buses were pulling in and out but absolutely NO communication as to which one was ours. Everyone looking at each other wondering what was going on. We finally got on the road at 8:50am. Our bus driver kept making inappropriate comments about women drivers and about women in general. I think he thought he was funny but his comments were not appreciated (I think driver was Warren/Walter?). In today's customer service/tourist industry you should treat everyone with respect. I' really surprised Viator uses this company to book their tours - this should be reported.
Three Sisters stop was ok - not breathtaking by any means. I was looking so forward to the caves tour but there must have been about 50 people on the tour with us. We couldn't hear what the guide was saying throughout the 1.5 hour tour and we kept having to wait in the cave for the tour ahead of us to finish and move on. Definitely would NOT recommend this tour. I feel like we wasted so much money when we easily could have rented a car and did this ourselves. So disappointed!!!! Look into doing a smaller group tour!Reviewed by: Engladian, January 2014
