It was a nice day out from Rome - the weather was great. Our guide Stephano was lovely and the lunch was delicious. It was a shame not to have had more time to spend in Cortona! The traffic getting back into Rome in the evening was terrible but aside from that it was a really nice day.

Pleasant tour but not very exciting.

This tour did not meet my expectations. I found the bus mostly empty but very cramped. It was great to get out of Rome to see the countryside but the visits to the cities was not long enough. The food was not quality- very diispointing. Part of the meal the pasta was great but the rest of the meal was not as advertised.

The tour guide Stefano was fantastic. He gave us lots of information and we had a very nice day. Without his guidance, I would have been upset and asked for my money back. The "food tour" was not that great. The lunch was mediocre, we sampled free samples at a gift shop, and I honestly felt like I could have done better on my own.
The winery tour and tasting seemed contrived, although the old man that ran the tasting room was a lot of fun. I have been to many wineries, and this one smelled like urine. I would not do this tour again.
1st off, I hate to write a bad review, but this tour is not worth your time. The food that was served was inferior, the wine did not enjoy. Was left to find our way back to bus, and got lost and could not find our group, had to hike back to rome on our own. Tour guide was not that knowledgable about the wines and should have not left the group to find our way back on our own. Too many bad memories to list.
