Blue lagoon is a very nice place. This place I feel like heaven. I like this place very much. If you like spas, spend half day in there. Recommend it.

Such a great day! Even though the weather was unpredictable - rain one minute, sun the next, to strong winds - its definitely worth doing! Met some great people along the way on this tour which also made for a great day!

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the HQ, where we were issued with our tickets. The first part of the trip was basically a drop off in a mini bus with no tour guide, they then ask you what time you want to be picked up. The cost of entry into the blue lagoon isn't included but I would really recommend going in as the lagoon itself is totally amazing, and well worth the money. Surrounded by snow capped mountains, it was totally stunning. The lagoon is run very well and you can hire everything from swimming costumes to towels and bath robes. It was totally magical and a completely relaxing experience. The mini bus then picks you up and takes you back to HQ for the second part of the trip. It's quite a long coach drive, but the tour guide was wonderful and clearly not reading from a script, which made it all the more interesting. He not only told us about the landscape and the history as we drove through it but we also learned a lot about Icelandic people and their traditions. Driving through beautiful landscape we were taken to various points of interest, which included Gullfoss and Geysir and a volcanic crater. Be careful at Gullfoss as it is very slippery but a totally amazing waterfall, with spectacular 360 views all round. Geysir is as equally as amazing. There isn't much there but the geyser goes off every 7-8 mins so plenty time to watch this wonder of nature. Overall a wonderful but long day, I would suggest taking a packed lunch of some kind although there are rest stops along the way you don't really get chance to do much else that use the loo. But worth every single penny.

The Blue Lagoon was amazing, much more than we expected despite the stormy weather and hail! All the snow just made the photos even better. Our afternoon trip was cancelled due to storms but we were given the option of doing it the following day and I'm so glad we did. Gullfoss is beautiful, the geysirs are impressive and heaps of snow added to the experience - everyone even piled out of the bus to help a stranded driver. Guides were good and the staff helpful, although the trips were a little late in leaving.
