Absolutely loved it!

The falls were magnificent, the Zimbabwean team in charge of the activities was well organised, the A'Zambezi hotel was excellent, and the Zimbabweans were such lovely and friendly people. Included activities were a walking tour of the falls and a sunset cruise on the river. The tour information also mentioned a visit to the Craft Market and an 'African Spectacular' entertainment - this was a little misleading, as it sounded as though they were an organised part of the tour, whereas in fact one has to arrange to see them on one's own.

The falls were beautiful. The situation in Zimbabwe was depressing. The Lodging at the Victoria Hotel was adequate but there were more waiters than diners in the dinning room. Over all I was glad we made the effort.

Victoria Falls is absolutely fantastic and the hotel we stayed in was great but I have rated the trip 3 stars because some people might have a problem with the bizarre system of changing money, primarily because there was no advice or warning from the travel operator. Changing money is a waste of time, but they give you change in local currency so unless you have 100 in 1 notes you are going to lose a lot of cash as we did.
