Your cycling tour begins on Andrassy Boulevard and at the Opera house. Ride to Heroes Square and city park along the tree lined boulevard where you will learn about Hungarian history and culture before biking through the park to Vajdahunyad castle complex. Continue back to the city center and down to St Stephen's Basilica, named after the first Hungarian King. After visiting the beautiful church and square you will ride to Liberty Square for a picture of the last Soviet remembrance, then on to Parliament, the second largest in Europe with its huge neo-gothic facade.
Next, cross the mighty Danube river over the first and oldest bridge, the Chain Bridge. Now at the foot of the Buda Castle your guide will talk about the sights and stories surrounding you before a leisurely ride up the old road to the base of the Royal Palace. A break here allows you to view the UNESCO World Heritage lookout panorama where here you can capture the best views of Budapest. Ride through the old castle district streets to the Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion, followed by your reward - the ride back down! On the back road of the castle coast in comfort to the green park of the Taban and back over to the Pest side, bringing your tour to a leisurely end.
