Our tour guide Anika (hope i am spelling it right) was so good. She was hilarious and yet so informative; it was raining but the lady was so professional. Not even for once did she say let's cut this short ........ it was a detailed tour and it was such an awesome experience. !!Reviewed by: Ashi D, April 2014
Absolutely great tour! Might be the best way to learn about the red light district in a safe environment and discover many interesting facts that we would never have known otherwise. Guide was professional and helpful, albeit 25 euros may be slightly steep for a 2hour walking tour. Recommended !Reviewed by: SI HUA MABEL T, April 2014
It was so interesting, the tour guide was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed it!Reviewed by: Jenny, April 2014
What an amazing tour!! Chantal (our guide) was great. Answered all of our questions, we had lots!! Would 100% suggest this. Only disappointing thing was, groups are not brought into the information centre anymore but brought to a small museum, this was fine though. We even got to sit in a window for a while, to see what its like!!! Great tour!!Reviewed by: Julien F, March 2014
There only very few spots where true explaining is done, the information provided is about as much as you were to read on one page about the RLD in a travel guide. We ended up being pushed into the Spanish group, with bilingual English, which resulted in a lot of standing around while things were explained twice.
The visit to the Red Light Secrets, I personally find to be just okay, there isn't really that much history to be seen, however I do not regret seeing it. There is a wall where visitors can post their confessions, which was actually quite interesting to read - not sure if I believe the guy with the goat...
Clearly you want to be a little open minded, since you will be passing three alleys with scantly clad young Easter European women (who didn't appear too happy to see a tour group - especially the guy taking pictures which is a no-no).
My take on this is, if you're a bit scared to walk the RLD at night yourself, this is probably a good choice.Reviewed by: Mario D, April 2014
