This trip was totally worth the extra expense. You got to get upclose to some amazing animals and it was a great day to see everything. I would definitely recommend taking this tour with the Wild Australia Experience as you get a more hands on tour then taking just the normal Zoo tour.Reviewed by: Kevin K, April 2013
Great tour, nice to have behind the scenes view of the zoo and up close with the Koala BearsReviewed by: Bradford V, April 2013
We had a great day at the Sydney Taronga Zoo. The Cable Car was under maintenance so we did not get to do that but we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the zoo and the Wild Australia Experience was not only educational but was so much fun! The zoo keeper who guided our small group of 8 was knowledgeable and we got to do and see so much behind the scenes. It was our first full day in Sydney and what a wonderful introduction to the native wildlife. We highly recommend Wild Australia if you want to pet and feed Wallaby's, Kangaroos and other animals and get up close and personal with those cute little Koalas!Reviewed by: Maria L, April 2013
Fabulous tour!!!!Reviewed by: Happy Trails, March 2013
We got there slightly late due to the ferry schedule. Warning there is a bus that will take you to the Zoo entrance at the top of the hill but it waits for all of the ferry passengers to fill it up and then it is about a 5+ minute ride up the hill. So do not take a ferry that arrives almost at the start time of the tour or you might be late. The zoo staff got us to the zoo keeper (also the tour guide for this) and we were on our way. We were there in early March and there was only a total of 5 of us on the tour so we had plenty of time to ask questions, spend time with the animals, and see what we wanted to see. Would definitely want to do this again. Very unique experience seeing a different side of the zoo. We did the 2pm tour and still had some time after to see a bit more of the zoo but not a lot. So if you want to see more I would suggest you go earlier.Reviewed by: Verne C, April 2013
