An amazing day!! Our guide was Mary and she smiled all day long and knew everything and was amazing!! It was the best way to see Washington DC as we were only in town for 24 hours. Free water bottles on the bus was an added bonus and I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Washington DC

My husband and I took my parents to DC, it was their first time there (they are 78 and 83 years old). The Viator website was easy to use and infomative. We can't say enough good things about our guide, Chris Scott. He was friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. This day tour was a great way to see the majority of the monuments. We liked that Chris got off the bus with us and gave us intersting facts about what we were seeing as well as giving us time to take pictures and look around on our own.
There was quite a bit of walking at a few points for my elderly parents.
This is a very good orientation tour. I thought we would only stop for photos, but we actually had time to visit the WWII, Jefferson, Vietnam Veterans, Lincoln, Korean and Iwo Jima Memorials. While we only toured the exteriors of the Capitol, White House and Washington Monument, our tour guide, Brian, provided interesting information at every stop. We also liked the cruise and lunch on the Potomac. We were very pleased with this tour.

Guide, driver and tour were great. Very disappointed we didn;t "hop off" at the Jefferson Memorial as advertised.

Highly anticipated, this tour was very disappointing. A White House demonstration disrupted the original tour plan and there seemed to be no back up plan. We went to alternate sites, sometimes with too little time to see the actual venue, sometimes with way to much time. The 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon was skipped after we were stopped by on-site police to let us know that we had violated parking rules and had to leave. The Potomac cruise was longer than expected and entertaining (the host knew some history), but i never actually went on the Potomac. Our tour guide, Chris, had a few interesting history points, but spent a large amount of time on the phone coordinating other buses or talking to strangers at the various sites. When we were on the bus, we had to ask questions to receive a short sentence in response. We felt that we were suffering a poor tour because Chris was having a bad day. I wouldn't use this group again.
