After a 41/2 hour drive was really looking forward to seeing the sights of Washington. Unbeknown to us when we booked this tour it was Memorial week-end and we did not expect 500,000 bikers to arrive in Washington on the same day. Most of the major roads were closed around the major attractions and therefore had to park several blocks away. This meant that our time at each site was severely restricted and at thecLincoln memorial did not have time to see either the Korean or Vietnam memorials. We also was looking forward to seeing Arlington cemetery which we did not get to. As I am recovering from a broken ankle I would not have booked this tour if I had known how much walking would be involved. I have used Viator many times and have always been very satisfied with the service but feel badly let down this time.

I was totally appalled by this tour, poorly run with a guide whose English was very difficult to understand. Having paid the money for this tour and basically beng left to our own devices, told where to go and a time to be back at the bus with no guide to discuss at sites, if this was not bad enough then 1 hour only at Smithsonian including lunch, and then told if we were not back at the bus at the time indicated then we would need to catch a cab to Capitol Hill to meet up with tour. This tour took 15 hous in total and unless it as better run in the future I would not recommend it.

We were told that the bus we were traveling in was broken once we arrived at White house, we traveled the entire places after this on our foot. I think we walked for around 5 hours to visit different places.
Till 6:30 PM we were waiting for the bus and even our tour guide was not sure were was the bus. The driver and company officials stopped picking our phone.
We were taking to nearest station and was made to travel to New york through train by Viator.
This was done when people in our group created a pressure on Tour guide to arrange for the tickets.
As we were made to visit different places by foot most of us started feeling tired and were not able to enjoy the trip. It was a hot sunny day and this situation reduced our energy to considerable level.
This was my first experience with Viator and I seriously don't recommend this for travel.
